Service

A service is an identifier of a group of environments in it. You can create a service and add all environments you want to keep track of.

Setup: 

  • Create a new service instance

Click on the project card. A page like this would open. Click on the ‘Add Service’ card to create a new Wooffer service instance.

  • Create service instance identifier

Once you click on the service card, a dialogue box will appear. Here, enter a unique service instance identifier to distinguish your service instance. Click on submit to see the created service instance.

Note:

You can edit the name of the service later as per your requirement.

  • Link you slack channel ID (Optional)

Now, such a dialogue box would’ve appeared. To get instant notifications, add your Slack channel ID here, then click on next.

  • Linking your project with Wooffer

Copy the code shown on your page and paste it as per the instructions. Once the code is pasted in the files as advised, click on Next.

Edit Service Details

  • To edit your service details, click on the service card of the project you want to edit.

  • Click on ‘Settings’ visible at the bottom of your service card. Or click on the card and go to settings from the left of the page. 
  • You can now edit services by clicking on the ‘Change Service Details’ button to edit the service name or Slack ID. To delete the entire service, simply click on the delete button.
